Visitors sign in for the day - inclement weather not withstanding!
A view of the gauge 1 marshalling yard with the turntable in the foreground and the station further back
Something is happening just out of camera shot!
A train is marshalled on the inner running line.
A 4F is prepared ready to raise steam.
It looks like this intending passenger is about to throw the book at somebody.

A short coal train on the 16mm
A Midland compound backs onto its train.
A view from inside the G1 track, showing some of the trad stands in the background. Not much in the way ofsunshine that day, as you can see.
A number of guests and members take advantage of the catering...
...Performed ably by Phil, under Janet's watchful eye
A Sweet Pea is readied on the elevated track.
Don't forget the greasetop!

An LNER 0-8-0 in wartime black.
An ex-LNWR Precursor in LMS crimson lake livery on the G1 track.

This is a lot of loco, even in Gauge 1. Sir William A Stanier, FRS sits in the marshalling yard.
A side view of Sir William
And in complete contrast, L&M "Lion"
Sedately bringing its train.
Do I detect a hint of Midland favouritism in this picture?
A visiting Black 5 approaches the station
"If I move my finger like this, then that lady gets hit on the head by the distant signal.."
The driver of the Penrhyn Hunslet must be thinking "How on earth did I get up here?"
A Highland train on the G1 passes one from the LMS.
A closer view of Clan Stewart.
The trade stands again.
Plenty of activity on the G1 track.
A 5" gauge Prussian P8 being steamed.
A Leek and Manifold loco hauls a long train on the 16mm.
As a Fowler goes in the other direction with a substantial freight.
The Fowler passes another freight. I'm not sure of the other loco, Sgt Murphy comes to mind. Correction or confirmation gratefully received.
A few years ago we extended one of the steaming bay tracks to act as an overflow and display area.
A closer view of the fire engine in the previous picture. It looked exquisite.
A visiting 5" LSWR 0-4-4. Nice finish.
An 0-4-0 North Eastern tank, classified Y4 by the LNER.
